Battle of Flowers

The Battle of Flowers is one of the most emblematic and popular events of Lleida's Fiesta Mayor de Sant Anastasi. This unique spectacle combines tradition, colors and fun in an unforgettable day.

What is the Battle of Flowers?

It consists of a parade of floats, associations, groups and animation groups that advance along Rambla Ferran throwing flowers and confeti to the spectators. The Marraco, the Giants and the Capgros lead the procession, creating a spectacle of colors and joy that attracts thousands of visitors.

A tradition returned

After different locations due to the renovation works of Rambla Ferran, the Battle of Flowers returns to its traditional setting. The renovated space offers a more spacious and comfortable environment for both participants and the audience.

How to participate?

Entities and groups interested in participating can register until May 6 through the official Lleida Festes portal (festeslleida.paeria.cat). Floats are evaluated based on creativity, originality and theme.

Schedule and location

The activity takes place on Saint Anastasius, patron saint of the city, at 18:00h, at Rambla Ferran in Lleida. Access is free.
